Child Safety Week Starts Tomorrow: Safety Is for Sharing

Child Safety Week 2025 kicks off tomorrow (2–8 June) — a national awareness campaign led by the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT), designed to help families build confidence in making everyday decisions that help keep children safe.

The theme this year is “Safety is for sharing,” and here at Car Seat Ninja, we’re proud to support it.

Why safety is worth sharing

Every day, parents and carers make hundreds of choices to keep their children safe — and we know that car seat safety can sometimes feel overwhelming or confusing. With so much conflicting information online, it’s easy to miss small (but important) steps that can make a big difference.

That’s why, this week, we’ll be sharing one simple and trusted car seat tip per day  — tips that are quick to understand, easy to share, and rooted in expert advice. From harness fit reminders to rear-facing guidance, our goal is to empower families with the knowledge to make safer choices, every time they buckle up.

Because when it comes to child passenger safety, the more we share, the safer they are.

CAPT has created a brilliant free Parent’s Pack, which offers bite-sized facts and safety tips on the most common accident risks to children — including road safety, choking, burns, falls, and more.

It’s a great resource to share with family, friends, and anyone who helps care for your child.
