Miraculously, despite the absolutely torrential downpours while driving in between appointments today, it stopped raining long enough to fit each of these 3 seats in 3 separate locations throughout Hertfordshire! My youngest turned 6 years old today and here’s a little snapshot of his exclusively rear facing years on this planet! He’s never once questioned his direction of travel, despite his older siblings sitting forward facing. It’s all he’s ever known and he’s always super comfy! Not that he has any say in it anyway! As an ERF retailer there was no question that George would get his pick of the best seats, but as a parent I obviously want my children to be using seats which offer the best protection should the worst happen. At 108cm, George is legally big enough to have moved into a highback booster as many parents choose to do but why compromise safety when rear facing is the absolute safest option regardless of age and George will be staying put until he maxes out his seat at 125cm. Is your little one within the limits of an ERF seat like some of the ones pictured? Throwback to when I was at the very start of my new business venture Don’t let the sunshine fool you for it was an absolutely Baltic January day in the middle of the second lockdown when I was introduced to the entire range of Axkid seats. With social distancing very much present, we spent a chilly few hours outside in masks, talking all things car seats! Love a nice Swedish safety combo! Axkid and Volvo go so well together with the built in attachment loops on the rails for lower tethers. The Minikid 4 in Granite Melange was the perfect choice for this Volvo V60 as driver was very tall and required the front seat all the way back and as low as possible. We still managed to get some additional legroom too!
