Baby carrier from newborn up – grows with your child
As the name suggests, the Voksi Huddle is made to grow with your child – from newborn to toddler (15 kg). It is designed for daily carrying from the very first weeks.

Carrying close to your baby strengthens the bond and provides security, and it's a great way for dad or partner to both relieve stress and build closeness with their baby. Huddle is designed to be easy – even for first-time parents with no experience carrying.

With an ergonomic seat and flexible headrest, Huddle provides great support for newborns. As your baby grows, you can switch between inward and outward carrying. Many people look forward to outward carrying, and it can be great when your baby is curious – but inward carrying is still the best rule of thumb for closeness, protection and ergonomics.

Puts on like a jacket – full front access, no loose straps
What really sets Huddle apart is that you put it on just like a jacket. No complicated straps or buckles: start by attaching the orange hook at the bottom before inserting the zipper pin all the way down into the zipper housing. The hook holds the base in place while you pull the zipper up past the “seat indicator”, which forms the seat your baby will be sitting in. Remember to button the button for extra security.

When you want to put your baby in, loosen the side straps and hold the child high on your shoulder. This makes it easy to gently guide the legs in. Then close the front pieces like a jacket and pull the zipper all the way up.

The headrest can be adjusted as needed, but it should never be higher than the middle of the ear – it provides support for the neck, not as a headrest.

Getting your child out is just as seamless: open the front zipper and gently lift your child out – without having to manage with long straps or undoing half the harness. Perfect when your child is sleeping, so you can put them straight into the stroller or bed without waking them. Test parents have highlighted this as a great value, especially with the little ones. If you have a jacket on, you can even wear it while taking your child out.

No more twisting, reaching behind, or dealing with dangling straps. The smart front tightening system provides a snug and comfortable fit, while giving your child's back natural, ergonomic support.

Soft, safe and seasonal materials

Huddle is made from natural materials – a blend of cotton and Tencel™, which are both breathable, soft and a little better for the environment. The inside is in ventilated 3D mesh that contributes to air circulation and a comfortable temperature, regardless of the season, which we have received very good feedback on.

All materials are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class 1 certified and safe for baby's sensitive skin. Because the outer fabric is made from natural materials, dark colors such as black may experience a slight discoloration over time - especially after washing or exposure to sunlight. This is not a defect, but a natural feature of natural materials. The fibers eventually acquire a softer, slightly matte surface that shows the quality of the fabric, we call it "patina of use".

Comfort for both you and your baby
Developed in close collaboration with babywearing experts, physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, Huddle provides good support for your baby's natural back shape and promotes healthy hip development in the recommended M-position. For you as the carrier, this means even weight distribution and less strain on your shoulders and lower back – so you can carry for longer without discomfort.

The carrier is certified as back-friendly by AGR – an independent expert group of doctors and physiotherapists, after a thorough physical assessment in Germany. This means that the ergonomics are approved for both the child and you, with a focus on natural support and less strain.

One of the main reasons for the certification is Huddle's unique, fixed back panel that keeps the straps in an optimal position every time you put it on. Unlike traditional baby carriers with loose, crossed straps that end up differently from time to time, this provides a stable and predictable weight distribution - and a noticeably more comfortable and back-friendly carrying experience over time.

Award-winning Norwegian design for real toddler life
Huddle is designed by Voksi's experienced design team in Norway, with insights from real families. Every detail is shaped by real needs – like being able to put on the harness while sitting, getting baby in and out while you already have the harness on, and making it all feel easy.

The intuitive and innovative design was named winner of the Red Dot Design Concept Award 2025 – a recognition of how Huddle makes babywearing more accessible and intuitive for modern parents.

Extended Rear Facing

Extended rear facing (ERF) car seats are becoming more popular after the safety benefits were realised in Sweden by child safety experts to keep children travelling as safely as possible on the road and from that developed the Swedish Plus Test which subjects seats entered for the test through harsher crash testing than standardised testing does.  Newborn car seats are always rear facing and there’s no reason to change that for the toddler stage. Rear facing child seats are safer and more comfortable than forward facing equivalents and all car seat suppliers have ERF options to choose from within their ranges.

Children should be rear facing for as long as possible and the best type of seat will be the one most suited to their weight and height so it will vary from child to child. Seeking the advice from a car seat specialist to check it fits your car and child will ensure you get the safest seat and get best value for money to ensure your child can stay rear facing from ages birth to 6 (approx).
